About these terms

ConsultReview is a peer review network for UK independent prescribers, run by Andre Wallace and Kazeem Lawal (“we” and “us” in these terms). By creating an account, or by reviewing a case through a share link, you agree to these terms. Our privacy notice explains how we handle personal data. ConsultReview is for professional use. You use it in the course of your work as a prescriber, not as a consumer.

Who can use ConsultReview

• You must be a prescriber registered with the relevant UK regulator, such as the General Pharmaceutical Council, the Nursing and Midwifery Council or the Health and Care Professions Council.
• We check registration against the public register. You must tell us straight away if your registration lapses, is suspended or has conditions placed on it.
• Your account is for you alone. Keep your password secure and don't let anyone else use your account.
• The details you give us, including your name and registration number, must be accurate and kept up to date.

Patient information

You must not submit anything that identifies a patient. That includes names, dates of birth, addresses, NHS numbers, and any combination of details that could identify someone.

• Use the redaction tool to remove identifying details from any PDF before you submit it, and check the redacted copy carefully. You are responsible for what you submit.
• Sharing a case on ConsultReview must be consistent with your own professional duty of confidentiality and any policies of the organisation you work for.
• If you realise a case contains identifying information, tell us immediately at hello@consultreview.co.uk. We will hide the case at once and remove the information.
• We may hide or remove any case we believe contains identifying patient information, without notice.

Peer review is not clinical advice

• Reviews are the professional opinions of other prescribers, offered for reflection and learning. They are not clinical advice from ConsultReview.
• You remain fully responsible for your own clinical decisions and for the care of your patients. Don't rely on a review in place of your own clinical judgement.
• ConsultReview is not for urgent or emergency situations.

How to behave

• Give feedback that is honest, constructive and professional. No harassment, abuse or discrimination.
• Treat other people's cases and reviews as confidential. Don't copy, download or share them outside ConsultReview, except where the case is your own.
• Only review cases within your competence, and say so if a case is outside it.
• Share links let people without an account review your case. Only send them to people you trust, and remove them when you no longer need them.
• Don't try to break, overload or get around the security of ConsultReview.

Your content

You own the cases and reviews you write. You give us permission to store them and show them to the people you choose to share them with, for as long as they are on ConsultReview. Your name is shown alongside the cases, reviews and messages you write, to the people who can see them.

Subscription and free trial

• Reviewing cases is free. Submitting cases and creating share links need a subscription.
• New subscriptions start with a 90-day free trial. You add a card when the trial starts. Unless you cancel before it ends, your subscription then begins automatically at £3.99 a month or £20 a year, whichever you chose.
• Your subscription renews automatically each month or year until you cancel. Payments are taken by Stripe.
• You can cancel at any time from the billing page. Your subscription then runs to the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew. We don't give refunds for part of a period.
• If your subscription ends, your existing cases stay viewable and you can still review. You won't be able to submit new cases or create share links until you subscribe again.
• We are not VAT registered, so prices do not include VAT. If we change our prices, we will tell you at least 30 days before the change applies to you.

Availability and changes

We work to keep ConsultReview available and secure, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or improve features over time.

Ending your use

• You can stop using ConsultReview at any time, and ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@consultreview.co.uk. Cancel any subscription first.
• We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if your registration lapses, or if we need to protect patients, other users or ConsultReview.

Our liability

• Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
• We are not responsible for clinical decisions you make, whether or not they are based on a review, or for anything another user writes.
• We are not liable for indirect losses, or for loss of profit, business or data.
• Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and tell you by email before any significant change applies to you. If you keep using ConsultReview after that, the new terms apply.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute.
